Riven: The Sequel to Myst was the second game in the Myst franchise, developed by Cyan Inc. (known as Cyan Productions at the time) and published by Red Orb Entertainment. It was released on October 29th, 1997 and was met with record-breaking sales.

Plot[edit]

Taking place in 9462 DE (1807 CE) about three weeks after Myst, Atrus sends the Stranger to Riven to trap Gehn and free Katran.
