Myst: Masterpiece Edition is a remake of the first game in the Myst franchise. It included several changes compared to the original, including 24-bit color, as opposed to the original's 8-bit color, and a hint system.

In 9462 DE (1806 CE), the Stranger finds a Myst linking book, and links there. Meeting Sirrus and Achenar in the red and blue prison books in the library, the Stranger visits four of Atrus's Ages to retrieve the red and blue pages for the brothers. In the end, the Strange must choose who to free; Sirrus, Achenar, or the mysterious green book....
