Eder Kemo is one of the Garden Ages written during the "Garden Binge" of the 8100s DE (444 CE - 544 CE). Named after the 'Kemo' fish found in its ponds, it was later released by the Lords at the time to the D'ni people for their enjoyment. It is a very lush Age, with rain showers about every fifteen minutes. It is paired with Eder Gira as an Age in Yeesha's Journey. Giant plants known as Trooms can be found in the Age, as well as a swarm of Fireflies that will follow explorers that walk near them.

During the DRC's restoration of the D'ni Ages, Phil Henderson was in charge of restoring Eder Kemo. In 2002, he disappeared through the Age's Journey Door and did not return until December 2003.
